Armored interior doors designed to protect internal premises. E.g. Residential Flat/Apartment, Safe-room, Office, Cash-room, Pharmacy-room. These armored doors are finished with wood imitation coverings such as LMDO or MDF panels, therefore they are not suited for external use or in excessively humid environments.
Apartment Door "Premium"
Industrial, Commercial, MetalThese are the armoured doors of the 4th (top) safety class. They are designed for the exploitation in zero humidity premises where constant temperature prevails. The experimenters of the tests performed in Kaunas University of Technology failed to break the door within 30 minutes. Drilling, hammering and breaking tools were used during the tests.
Closed steel profiles of 80mm of width and 2mm of thickness are used during the manufacturing of DOOR JAMB. Standard supplied doors contain the jamb that is insulated with polystyrene foam. In order to ensure especially comfortable lacing of the door DORMA plates are mounted to the door jamb. These plates allow regulation of the door magnetization during exploitation period.
THE DOOR LEAF is also made of closed steel profiles of 50mm of width and 2mm of thickness. The leaf is reinforced with two horizontally and vertically welded steel profiles. These profiles prevent the locks from extrusion of the lock and the door deformation. The exterior side of the door is covered with the steel sheet of 2 mm of thickness. The total thickness of the door leaf is 76 mm.
THE DOOR LEAF IS INSULATED with hardened top class rock-wool of 2 cm of thickness. Three layers of the rock-wool are applied to the door. Thus the soundproofing and thermal properties are preserved.
The tests performed in Kaunas University of Technology revealed 44dB soundproofing and 1,2 W/m2K thermal conductivity of the door. In order to ensure especially effortless lacing Italian DOOR HINGES of 20mm of diameter with journal-bearings are used. The products are supplied with 3 welded hinges. Premium door are supplied with chromium-plated covers for hinges.
4 PROTECTIVE STOPPERS protect the door against forced opening that can be performed by cutting off the door hinges.
Standard CLADDING PANELS are made of laminated chipboard of 12 cm of thickness. PVC strips are applied for the lamination of the edges of the boards. Such solution allows prevention of peeling off of the edges during exploitation period. Additionally MDF board with PVC film can be ordered. The clients can choose from a wide range of the chipboards colours and patterns.
The safety class of the LOCKS supplied must be at least 6 to 7. We use only the locks of famous manufacturers, e.g. "MOTTURA", "DORMA", "EVVA" and other.

In order to prevent the door against deformation and to ensure its durability the leaf is reinforced with two horizontally welded steel profiles. The exterior side of the door is covered with the steel sheet of 1,5 mm of thickness.
THE DOOR LEAF IS INSULATED with polystyrene foam of 2cm of thickness. In order to ensure good soundproofing and thermal properties of the door two layers of the polystyrene foam are applied.
